Narayan Rane Urges Field Officers to Meet MSME Growth Targets, Launches the second phase of MSME RuPAY Credit Card
Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane has urged field officials to meet MSME growth targets in their respective districts within the time stipulated. Addressing the National conference of MSME- Development Institutes, Testing Centres and Technology Centres he said that this conference will contribute in shaping the vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the conference, Rane also announced the second phase of the MSME RuPAY Credit Card, in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and four banks: Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBM Bank (India), and HDFC Bank. This card would provide a streamlined payment channel for MSMEs to cover their business-related operational expenses.
Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, State Minister for MSME, graced the occasion. Senior Ministry of MSME officials, as well as representatives from MSME-Development Institutes, Testing Centers, Technology Centers, NPCI, and bank executives, attended the meeting. The goal of this conference was to meet with officials from the Ministry of MSME’s field offices in order to develop future strategies for better implementation and monitoring of MSME program, as well as collaboration with state governments and other stakeholders for the benefit of MSMEs. This conference is part of Enterprise India’s Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign.
