NetApp, a global software company that specializes in data-centric solutions and cloud-based technologies, has selected Andrew Sotiropoulos as its new Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

With over three decades of experience in the IT industry, Sotiropoulos will lead NetApp’s business and expand its presence in the region, with a focus on enhancing enterprise storage and cloud services, strengthening the partner ecosystem, and extending the company’s leadership in the regional markets. Based in Singapore, he will report to NetApp President Cesar Cernuda. Sotiropoulos takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi, who led NetApp’s sales teams in Asia Pacific for four years. Sotiropoulos has held senior positions at several technology firms, including Pure Storage. Cernuda welcomed Sotiropoulos to the company, remarking that NetApp was committed to strengthening its relationships with business communities in the region. Sotiropoulos expressed his excitement about building on NetApp’s 30-year foundation and helping APAC organizations accelerate their digital transformation journeys
